Sonu Nigam has recorded various romantic, rock, devotional, sad, ghazal, and patriotic songs. On 15th February 2002, Nigam married Madhurima Nigam. Nigam was trained by Hindustani classical singer Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. At the age of 18, he moved to Mumbai with his father to begin his Bollywood singing career.
